WAR Bangles

£160.00 GBP

The word "bangle" originates from the Hindi word "bangri", meaning a ring-shaped armlet.  It entered the English language in the late 1700s. The earliest known use of "bangle" in English is from 1787

This is a bangle version of an archived ring design.
The rings were called FAR rings (Fingers Aren't Round)
WAR stands for 'wrists aren't round'
They are oval in shape, and by no means perfect. They are flatter than they are wide, and have a delicate texture created by rolling in a Mill between sheets of paper.

5% of sales will be donated to a charity that supports victims of war.
