Workshops
Join me for a few hours and learn how to design, and create your very own ring, in my studio, located in the picturesque Old Town Hastings, East Sussex.

You will carve and sculpt a ring in jewellers wax, exploring different textures, and experimenting with shape and form, with a variety of tools.
By the end of the class your ring will be ready for casting, using the lost wax method, which is over 6000 years old!
It will be cast in 100% recycled Sterling silver (silver is included in the course cost, other metal options available upon request, and will be an added cost)
You might also like to have it gold plated (gold vermeil), so we can chat about these extras, in person on the day.
*Extra wide/heavy rings may have additional cost added of approximately £30.
Once cast, it will be sent back to me for sizing and finishing, and will be posted to you within approximately 4 weeks (UK address included in course fee)
Collection from my studio is also an option.
*Extra time is required for gold plating.
I have over 13 years experience teaching, so feel rest assured you will learn a LOT, while your crafting away.
You will be sent an introductory email a week or so before the class, with all the relevant info about getting there, etc.
I have also put together a Pinterest board for you to get inspiration from, and to help get an idea of what you could achieve if you’re a complete beginner.
There is no experience necessary in this relaxed small group space, although all levels are absolutely catered for. I can advise experienced jewellers wishing to expand their skills, and allow them try out the wax carving techniques, before committing to their repertoire.
Unfortunately, my studio is not wheelchair accessible, but I do have an alternative location I can use if required. And it is possible for me to bring the class to you! as all we need is a table and chairs.
